Two turbines and 4 electric motors? Good luck working on that!

    Looks neat though.

I was thinking the same thing about the Corvette. To be honest I kinda like the rear. The wheels are throwin me off.

It would be cool to see the turbines with afterburners shooting out of those vents. Click here to enlarge

I'm all for a car with turbines. They are just making a statement with this thing anyway, it isn't supposed to be all trim and proper.

With the Indians now owning Jaguar things are clearly different.

Jaguar is considering producing this, the problem is, it would not be available to purchase until around 2016. So... maybe the revealed it a tad early?

It is beautiful. I honestly dont know what to think about it though. Every company is coming out with another 'performance hybrid' of sorts.

I like how different this. Great example of thinking outside the box and pushing the envelope in a completely different way.

Imagine what the modification discussion for this thing would like, "Where can I get bigger turbines?"

well i love the turbines dont get me wrong...

But I doubt they will use them as part of their production hybrid car. I think they are just trying to make a statement, using exotic forms of internal combustion and electric. A little gaudy, but still very cool IMO. The gas turbines are neat, but until I see one on the street it's just another vaporcar. Unfortunately so is the VED and the porsche hybrid. My opinion is, either go full electric or full gas; trying to mix them is just going to make $#@! so very complicated. And you can forget modding something like that.

Anything can be modded. I'd mod a stealth fighter if I could.

If this thing does hit production, I would like to see it happen with the turbines. I mean, how cool are freaking turbines and imagine the punch they give you up top.

Says the man who first discovered the price of twin turboing the S65 and then $#@! his pancreas. Anything CAN be modded, but for how much is my concern.

When electric cars become full blown, there will be no need for engine tuners. The art of engine tuning will be a thing of the past, as will stroker kits, blowers, nitrous.

You want more power? Bump up the voltage and the cooling circuit for the e-motors. It's almost going to be too easy, not just that but electric cars will be running ridiculous 1/4 mile times. The electric motor is practically a 1/4 mile monster, maximum torque off the line.

F that, I like nitrous, I like strokers, and I like for the ground to shake when I rev my motor.

It will be like electric RC cars vs. gas, gas wins due to electrics never holding a long charge despite all the torque they deliver.

Maybe battery technology will make some huge leap, but I don't think so.
