3.8l BB kit over 3.6 on 996tt/997tt is on really worth ?

I have watch out 60-130, 100-150, 0-300kmh, 1/2 mile and 1 mile ET and trap speeds both 3.8l and 3.6l identical.
I heard the 3.8l kit make 4% more power

What are your goals?? Several stock displacement 996/997s pushing over 1,000 WHP with proper tuning, turbo sizing & fueling. Honestly I think it'd be more beneficial to get better head flow, new valve springs & raise your redline before increasing displacement.

    Moved to flat-6 turbo.

I mean, is it worth it? Not really unless you have money to burn. 200cc's isn't all that much really but if you're bothered by your spool, sure.

Ultimately, for power potential it's about cramming in boost and some headwork on that motor once the bottom end is built to take it.

I'd do my best to get the GT3 topend on there.
