182.33mph 1/2 Mile Integra! Gringo goes fast :)

I got my car back up and running after it broke at the last shift-s3ctor 1/2 mile event in April. It spun a bearing last time. While there are a bunch of different theories on why it spun a bearing I think it spun due to starvation.

I changed the oil pan from stock to a moroso 5.5quart, and added an accusump. I didn't actually end using the accusump because it wouldn't hold any air pressure in it.

I did about 10 full passes Over the weekend.

Each pass went faster and faster. Just dialing in the boost and traction control.

My final numbers ended up being waste gate in 1st gear, 12psi in 2nd, 18psi in 3rd, 25psi in 4th and 31 psi in 5th. My car made 742whp@31psi.

Sunday I went 179.6mph and decided to do some aero mods and taped up the headlights. Next pass with nothing changed I went 182.33 mph.

Needless to say the car survived the weekend of abuse and I am happy as can be. Only 150 miles on the new motor!

I will have a few pictures and videos when we get home, just thought I'd share with you guys.

That integra is very impressive. I am not a big fan of honda's but you deserve serious respect for that car. Just need some better traction in 3rd and that is probably a 185+ car. Thank you for sharing this Click here to enlarge

What tires are on the front?

i truly feel with some Aero work and a little more working on traction it has 190mph in it. I will be doing some Aero work on he car this winter, and truly think it has more in it. All i did was tape up the headlights and it gained 3mph over the pull before!

One of the GTR's we took down made 1300whp and went 200mph here, it traps 165mph in the 1/4. Ive been 151, but traction down low is hard to get and thats what helps the mph a lot.

Tires were 225/50/16 Toyo RA-1's on all 4.

Look into smoothing the airflow under the car. At those speeds, aero is very important.
