    FBO + Meth 335xi Mustang Dyno (408awhp/483awtq)

Today I dynoed my car on a mustang dyno. The car is FBO meth running JB4 ISO 27.2 and the race flash using the bb utility. I am extremely happy with the results especially considering it was on a mustang dyno. Best uncorrected number was 408awhp and 483awtq. Corrected that came out to 397awhp and 463awtq.

I had a few problems the first being mixing too much E85 in the day before... Because of that the car was kicking itself to stock boost up in the higher RPM range. Terry went above and beyond and responded to my emails on a Sunday and I filled up with 93 to try to balance it out a bit. The guy doing the logs did say it still went into map 4 on at least one of the runs. My second problem is i'm not hitting target boost at all... No boost leaks because I did a smoke test last night so i'm guessing something to do with my turbos.

    Anyways here's the vid:

I noticed you dyno'd in 3rd. Maybe try 4th? Might give the turbo more time to spool and hit target perhaps?

What time did you end up dynoing? Unfortunately I got there later in the afternoon, I would have liked to see the dyno in person.

You need to get that turbo/boost issue figured out your powerband is jumping off a cliff after 5500 rpm. Maybe its time to run some seafoam/ walnut blast and clean your intake valves.

All the dynos were done in 4th. If you look at the CSV logs it shows 4th

I think it was close to 4 ish. I was right after the blue evo and a white N55 dynoed after me. I was supposed to dyno earlier in the day but kept delaying it until I got an email back from Terry

Walnut blasting was done around 4k miles ago. I think that problem is either the turbo/boost issue or the fact that I ran too much E85 so the car kept putting itself in map 4

Ah, I must have left right before you got on the dyno.

gotcha. not sure why datazap shows it as 4th.

Yeah something is up with not hitting target. Here is how my map7 looks on a short 4th pull http://www.datazap.me/u/zeel/map7cm1...2?1-3-4-5-6-11

Whoops my fault I just checked... I accidentally uploaded my 3rd gear pull on the way to the event... Just fixed it and put the dyno pull on.

Boost is definitely off target and I don't know why. Did a smoke test the night before and only have a pinhole leak from where FMIC piping meets up with charge pipe which I don't think would effect anything. Maybe turbos/wastegate?

    Log WGDC to help diagnose.

Nice numbers. I did 387whp on a Mustang AWD dyno on my old FBO meth car.
    Change is constant

That's cool it's always fun to surprise people and see interest from others in your car.
