    Best map for the track....

Heading to the track for the first time with my 09 xi this weekend and Im really unsure which Jb4 map to use? I have meth (50/50), DCI, mid pipes and I run e40'ish, with 106 race gas available if needed. Should I stick with map 3, e40/race gas mix and up my "additive" value to 50 or just set it to map 7 with the same e40/race gas mix? Maybe use meth with map 7? Thanks for any input!

I'd use map 7 w/ the race gas, E85, and meth.

Thanks guys... Now map 7 isn't auto tuning so I can just set it to 7 when I get to the track correct? The meth algorithm works without making any future use values on 7? Hope my trims stay under control!

You just select map 7 and go. With meth flowing and lots of octane it should be fine. But the smart money is always to test it out ahead of time so you don't waste a trip to the track if it doesn't work out as planned.

Thanks for the help... Tested it last night, the car felt like a beast! Trims did get a little high so I dumped 2 bottles of Heet in with my meth and purged the line. All looks good now... Who knew an xi could spin all 4 tires through first gear, from a 10 mph roll? Click here to enlarge
