Pulling timing just because of the tune though you think?

My first guess is the tune but i'll have a better understanding tomorrow when I see the tuner. I have logs for him to look through. The car normally sees any where from 15 to 17 degrees of timing at wot. The knock sensors picked up something from launch to just about half track. The top end of the 1/4 felt real strong and the logs back that up.

I'd guess the tune too but it may be a combo of the tune and ecu pulling timing due to heat, knock, or any combo of things. I'm sure your tuner will figure out how to make it all work as it should.

You were running race gas right? Which fuel?

That might be why you're pulling timing though down the track as temps rise. The ecu is likely protecting the motor by pulling timing as it should.

    Not yet.

The tune was adjusted but I'm waiting on some cooling parts(pump and tank) to come in to address my intake air temp issues. Hope to have it completed by the end of the month.

My stage 1 hardware mods cost me about $2500. $4000 installed and dyno tuned.

This is a rough estimate of my Stage 2 hardware. I have to double check my receipt to confirm.

That's not bad at all. 10sec 1/4mi for stage 1 is pretty badass.

Stage 1 is definitely a good bang for the buck. I'm hoping to go deep into the tens once I straighten out my heat issues.

I'd say that's well worth ~$8k. would you say the car is still comfortable to DD? My EVO isn't very DD friendly anymore and it kind of sucks Click here to enlarge

Daily driving hasn't changed one bit. It's louder because of the exhaust but in cabin noise with the windows up is nearly the same as stock.

I added a couple of resonators because the headers and stock muffler combo gave it a tinny sound. The resonators cleaned up the sound nicely.

Just wanted to update this thread. I finally got some issues straightened out. I finally made it to the track after a long cold snowy winter.

    I managed to run a 10.53 @ 131.31 with a 1.54 60', a new personal best.

There are still a few little things to deal with but I'm extremely happy.

Here's a couple of pics of the engine bay.

The Lid is from the Camaro ZL1. It has a better designed intercooler brick and just about everyone with a V is converting to it. I had Tune Time convert all the Lid fittings over to AN.

The ice tank is located in the upper left hand corner. This helped immensely with IAT2's.
