Thumbs up The V went in for Stage 2!!

I decide to take the next step with the V. In addition to my Stage 1 mods(see my sig) I added a set of American Racing headers with X-pipe into stock mufflers, an Innovators West Balancer with 9.1 lower pulley and a Comp Cams custom grind cam. All the install work and tuning was done by Tune Time Performance in Lakewood, N.J.

Here is the original thread describing in detail my Stage 1 mods.
    http://benzboost.com/showthread.php?...nder-the-knife!

Just to recap, in stock trim my V ran a 12.18 @ 119 on stock street tires. On their AWD Mustang Dyno the stock numbers were 435rwhp & 434rwtq.

After Stage 1 mods were completed the car ran a blistering 10.87 @ 127 on M/T drag radials in -600 DA. Stage 1 dyno numbers were 483rwhp & 504rwtq.

After having the car for just over a week I anxiously waited for a call from Tune Time with the latest dyno numbers and boy was I happy. I picked up a whopping 91rwhp & 74rwtq.

    Final numbers: 574rwhp & 578rwtq

If that car pulls up to me at a stop light and i crack the window to hear that. I know for a fact I better have my $#@! together or I'm going to lose with the wife in the car!
@PetroC63 how is the interior holding up in that car. I hear after 40k it's really takes a turn. But that's also not maintaining it like a good owner should!

Your car is sick. Crazy how much power with so little mods. I love those CTS-V's however they were out of my price range when I was looking. Can't wait to see what it runs.

I may do a set of ported LSA heads in the future and possibly a bigger blower(2.3).

Went to Atco last night and had issues with the tune. The ECU pulled about 6 degrees of timing due to knock and shift points were set too low. Car was only shifting at about 6100 rpm. With the new cam shift points should be at a minimum of 6500 rpm. Heading to the tuner tomorrow for adjustments.

I only made one run and still managed a 10.91 @ 127.38. Not bad considering some things need to be ironed out. Boost peaked at 19 psi according to Dashboss.

    That's a good 60 foot!

You think you are going to be able to pick up a couple more mile per hour?

Yes. The ECU pulled timing until about half track. I've gone 1.58 in the 60' prior to these mods. I strongly believe when the issues are resolved the car could go 10.5 @ 130.
