    Got a few gallons of E85 today question.

    Had to fill up the tank today and decided to put in 4 gallons of E85 with my normal 93. My question is I'm running a stage 1 map with my BB flash and my car is stock other than my AFE air filters. Will this hurt my car if the tune wasn't a real E85 map? or is it perfectly fine to run it?

    You need to adjust the bank 1&2 fuel scalar to account for the ethanol. Plus I'd run a but more timing to take advantage of it Click here to enlarge

    If I don't change anything from the map you sent me do you think I can hurt the motor?

    No, it should be fine but ideally you want to adjust the fuel scalar to account for the ~E30. You might see some fuel mixture codes start popping up.

    As long as I won't break anything I feel ok. I'll wait till a E85 map gets released before filling with E85 again.

    Just thought it would be a little more powerful running that combo. Plus it's been 95+ degrees and super humid the past few days so I thought it would run better in that heat. Not 100% sure really. Lol

    Still got a pretty decent amount of E30 in your tank? I can email you a new file with some Ethanol specific tweaks, very conservative in terms of aggressiveness of course.

    As long as your Short & Long Term Fuel Trims are in check, 3-4 gallons of E85 is completely fine and will most likely cure any timing corrections you might be having. I would recommend data logging your car ~30 mins after you've blended fuels (to ensure the fuel has mixed) and data log. Aim to keep your fuel trims consistently sub-25% to make sure you won't max them out during a pull and unintentionally run the motor lean.

    Thanks to Lulz_m3 again I'm running the e85 map. All I can say is wow!!! For just a tune and air filter it's crazy how hard my car pulls. Thanks again. Wish I could rep you. Lol

    my logs with greater than 3 gallons my trims are very close to 34 without any adjustments to the scaler.

    Is there something I can read that will tell me the best way to log using my BT cable? Never used it for that. Also I appreciate all the help this forum has given me so far.
