Great times!!! Hoping to head to the track soon and run in the 11s. My best so far has been 12.2. What rpm did you launch at and what rpm did you shift? Your car is so sleeper looking people better watch out.

Thanks man! That is a good time as well. For me, trying to launch past 2.5 made my wheels spin and trans shut off. I have a video of launching 3.2k in 1st not good. I shifted at ~6.2k all but 1st to 2nd was 7k.

There is a few xi owners who have upgraded turbos, but they do not race their cars. I guess the fear is with the transfer case. If a solid upgrade for xfer case and auto trans was released I would be very happy Click here to enlarge

yea not surprising in the n54 world which is filled with AT lovers, lol

I trapped 120 in my 6sp manual 135 with just dp and meth on jb4 at like 18 psi .... but couldnt get anywhere off the line and beat that time the first time out in my AT but Im confident with some good rubber on a manual xi a 5k launch should net you 1.5 60s with Rbs without much hassle...

but i dont think its even been attempted yet

Great times. 1.66 60' time is pretty damn good for a 335i. Your car def has the sleeper look LOL. Congrats on the 11s man. Very impressive.

5k RPM launches were done by the current XI record holder, BobVadar/Firepoule, and he's mostly in the low 1.7x range but I think most if not all 6AT are as low or lower. My best was 1.56 and that was most of 1st gear spinning and catching the 1st to 2nd shift perfectly in my 6AT. I will do some drag racing, but the 335xi is not suited for it. After replacing my front diff, transfer case and transmission I'm thinking I'll stick to roll racing.

I have a Ford/Chevy showdown thing I'm going to on the 21st, it's only 1/8 mile but I will be fully modded for that and will see if I can get anywhere near the 7.5 / 95mph I think the car has in it FBO w/meth and E85. Then we'll see what a 30, 50 and 100 shot do for the car Click here to enlarge
