2014 C7 Corvette Stingray Z51 performance figures - 0-60, 1/4 mile, skidpad, and curb weight

The numbers can do the real talking, courtesy of MotorTrend.

Curb weight is 3444 pounds so about E46 M3 weight. I thought the C7 was supposed to be lighter than this?

    Great weight distribution.

12.2@117 is not bad but I expected a bit more I guess.

It does look like an awesome car. See that v8 in there? That is one reason the Volt exists - fleet mileage standards. I love the comment about DI and VVT in a pushrod V8.

I hate the front grill, way to long and boring....the c6 looks better to me.

Nice car though, very quick, great value, but the vette hasn't lost the "old guy, midlife crisis" image to me.

I just think it could have been faster, but the real letdown for me is the weight. I'll reserve judgment for when I see the Z06.

Yup one in a million....oh wait, one of a million! Some of us like to take roads less travelled rather than following like sheep. Don't get me wrong as the vette is ok but.., if you want to go fast in a Chevy, just call jegs or summit and they have a checklist to go fast...no R&d or thinking involved.

Seems like another amazing corvette, but i have serious concerns about long term relibiality. That a lot of tech cramed into a car that is meant to be drivin HARD and i dont trust it in the long haul. I personally like corvettes to be raw and option-less. Im very interesdtd to see what the z06&zr1 bring to the table.
