On a Dyno Dynamics, 91 octane, Stage 1 flash. Looks to be about a 25 wheel horsepower gain with a large mid-range torque boost.

Front wheel drive doesn't bother you at all coming from RWD?

You get used to it, I had a supercharged Z4 before my GTI.

I feel like that's a high baseline for WHP on 91oct on that engine, but i may be wrong. either way it's a nice little boost in power and that's what we're looking at.

As for driving FWD. It's all about throttle control and good tires -- for straight lines. A lot of guys pushing 500whp+ on the TSI platform usually switch over to front brakes from a rabbit and run 15" wheels to fit the biggest slick they can on there and as you seen from Patrick_GLI can do a decent 60' at 1.7. I should have 280-300wtq on meth with 18" v12s and as long as i don't go WOT in first or second i'm fine. all about rolling into it.

For those running auto-cross and anything with turns it's tires, suspension, and an LSD and realizing you can't compete with porches and z06s.

Another issue is we are really limited to about 240 tires, even then it's a tight fit.

From what I have seen it does look like a high baseline but I'm not super experienced with these motors.
