As an outsider it looks a little bit sad (sad not being the exact word I want tu use, but with a lack of a better word, sad it is. It does not catch the exact tone I was looking for).
I understand you, standing in the USA, must perceive it quite differently.

David, it's actually a meme. You seem to be missing the joke.

I don't quite know what to say... Went from a caddy to... I'll refrain from saying anything related to the Patriotism and military since I have been serving for the last 15 years and still am active...

As to the American hating on Cars... I'll admit I disliked American Cars for a while myself, I had two Garbage American Cars ('95 Chevy Corsica and '99 Pontiac Grand Prix), but this didn't stop me from getting a '13 Challenger R/T (5.7L Hemi). Yeah it's power levels aren't anything to brag home about, compared to the M3 or the various other V8's from the German Manufacturers or Compared to the Mustang and Camaro, but it's hell of a lot more comfortable and spacious compared to the Mustang and Camaro.

Wish I could have afford a CTS-V or the Audi S5 I had originally planned to get, but just couldn't justify the 50-70k price tag (again). American cars have come a long way and I think they will continue to.

The sad part is that American automakers make better cars for the European market.

This is true, and we don't get access to the same vehicles... A shame really...

The part that gets me is some of the American cars the European get which we do not. What a kick to the balls.
