Ran extreme speed time attack/pic of a gt500 crash

Went to extreme speed time attack. Matched my fastest e.t there with 1:32:8 (WSIR). 1st place in RWD. A GT500 went off and flipped a couple times, thank god the owner was alright. Overall I was 4th and the 3 cars ahead were Evo's that has aero, suspension, brakes and nt01 and hankook TD tires. So pretty happy with how I performed.

Looks nasty. Hope he had track day insurance. Is it just all Rwd or is it classed some how by power, suspension tuning etc?

Yea, I saw those pics on FB from you and Persian54's page. Good to hear the driver was okay. Nice that you got first place. I need to come in a ride along with you.

Classed by Rwd and Awd. Then a few modification levels. I was in the base level cause I don't have mods really but I ran faster than any of the Rwd cars. It's a small event but just my first so it was kind of cool. They just bought redline time attack so maybe ill try that

Thanks. The cars ahead had too many mods to hang with. Once the suspension, SS brake line and Pagid pads go one well see what's up!

No plans for anything. Just braking and handling mods. That's what its all about. Supercharger adds weight, headers/catless is too loud for my daily driver.

Naw, I don't see worth having any sort of trouble with warranty for maybe 10-15hp. But I haven't looked up much data on tunes

I get your perspective. You really want all out track performance without compromising the engine/warranty and that's awesome.

That's a little scary man I'm not sure why you stayed in it the way you did once the rear was starting to slide.

Not sure what you mean by "stayed in it the way I did". Oversteer to the left and then over corrected and spun. That was first lap out tires were cold and was on it too much

There's really nothing you can do when something like that happens. Lucky there was nobody on his as or anything. Most drivers are cautious during those 2 turns. RWD get tail happy there.

Not saying anything about your driving I just thought when you went a little aggressive on the throttle you pushed the rear out a bit. I'm probably wrong.

I didn think you we're I was just explaining what happened. It's on off angle uphill and the back teds to swing out. My tires were cold, first lap. Only the driver can make the car spin so it was bad driving!

Be easy on yourself. Weight transfer was not in your favor going up and a tough sweeper.
