Jay Leno's First Look at the Corvette C7 Stingray

Jay Leno trying out the new Corvette. This car is amazing! Really impressed at how much nicer quality it looks than the C6. Don't get me wrong the C6 is an amazing machine, but they took this car to a new level of badass this time around. Enjoy!!!

Booo... No driving at all, I wanna see it moving on the highway. On a side note for us who care 2 Z06 prototypes are currently testing at the Mesa provings grounds with at least 600hp. There's a another in transit to the ring and another somewhere on the East Coast I am told.

I've never been crazy about Corvettes (a lot of older, bald guys near me with Red, Automatic Convertibles), but this new one is a landmark progression (finally, a real interior). I would seriously consider the C7, especially if it drives as great as it looks. Really looking forward to more details about the Z06.

I am sold. I always knew the performance value can't be matched, but could never bring myself to actually own a Vette. But the C7 is a completely different story. Really liking it a lot.

Interesting, they say they are targeting the younger market. I'm still having a slight bit of trouble with the Vette stigma but I would have to say they achieved their goal. This thing is hot.

I hear ya on the stigma. It sounds vain, but I don't give a sh*t it is the truth. I simply would not own a Vette before the C7. I always respected them very much, especially the C6 Z06. Same reason Ford needs to drop all retro styling for the next Mustang, clean slate design.

Looking forward to the C7 Z06. That could be the final push I need.

It will be insane, no doubt about it. Just look at the current Z06, it is an absolute animal. Whether you track it or drag it. Thing is just nuts!!!! With their magneto whatever suspension of course.
