    I'm really debating going with the C7 vs the S5... But price and drivability in the snow are the only two things that keep me from making a choice... NYC winters when it snows... Not meant for a Corvette, that's for sure..

    I just read that prices may start around 55k for the 1LT, but that is just speculation at this point...

    doesnt matter...im still getting my hands on a z06...i really wonder what the LS7 successor is gonna be like....its got HUGE shoes to fill....because that motor was epic all in itself

    I would expect that the 427 stays along with better heads, intake & cam. I would expect a stronger 7spd trans and I wouldnt expect NOT to see DI. I would expect a bit less weight vs the standard car around 100-150lbs less. Since the base car is likely to be 460hp I would suggest that 540-60hp will be the Z06 though closer 600 is not out of the question. The ZR1 will have FI and should be well over 675hp, expect them to uncrown the Viper and GT500 on HP even if only by 1hp...

    I think all the other stuff is going to add weight so it shouldn't get lighter it should stay the same. The chassis is lighter but the associated luxuries, body, etc., seem to be heavier.

    We don't have the curb weight for the standard car yet.
