    Catfish version 3.0

Well here is is, with the new year brings the new build. This will be the 3rd and FINAL build, on this camaro. With the help of @BoostAddict and others, hopefully we will make this one bad ass street car. Here is a little back story on the car.

Got the Camaro when I was 16 and drove to high school with a bone stock, high mileage camaro. The power was fun but, like all of us the need of speed lingers on and I was ready for more. It started with simple bolt ons and what not. That lasted a little then I was ready to really dig in to the car.

Senior year we pulled the motor, and I purchased a LS6 block with Forged internals, followed by a CNC ported LS6 heads, with a custom grind camshaft. The car lasted for awhile like this. It was fun had a lot of power but the want for more was still there.

Then suspension came into affect. The car has full suspension all from BMR minus a K member. Had a local grudge going with a turbo s197 and that was fun. Decided I needed a competitive edge so N20 was purchased.

After hooking it up went out one thursday night, (Was suppose to run spray for the first time at the track the next night). I did a pull and lost oil pressure and BOOM, she went. That was last March and til now it hasnt moved since putting it back in the garage.

So Ive always wanted to go turbo on this car, was just always to scared to take the plunge in. Well that time is now. While in Afghanistan Ive purchased a couple parts and with the help of @BoostAddict , hopefully we will have this car 75% done. This build will all be done in house, garage style with the exception of paint.

Heres a basic parts list. There is no real goal for the car but I would like to hit the famous 1xxx mark with a couple revisions of this setup.
Car will be on E85, and who knows maybe make Tx2k14

Are you confident the stock 5.3 bottom end will hold? Or are you just trying to see where it breaks?

He's being forced into buying rods, He just doesn't know it yet. They are cheap enough, $3-500 for all 8.

Yeah, i've always heard the rod/rod bolts were the weak link in the LS bottom end.
