Maybe I'll email AMS later today and see what they say. Also, I guess I'm going to just tune it on pump gas once finished. I've realized that I've outgrown my fuel pump now for e85. My current fuel setup should support over 500HP on pump gas. It was struggling to support 500HP on e85 though. If I keep the car, I'll need to decide on what type of fuel upgrade to do. Do I add an inline pump? Do I add a BAP? Do I swap my single 416lph e85 pump for 2 255 pumps? will 2 255 pumps be enough? or do i need 2 416lph pumps? IDK. still alot of questions to be answered. I'm in the process of pickup up a COP for it. At least when I sell it, no one will be able to say it wasn't built correctly. lol
Some people may not like to because they have had success without, but I don't think there is anything negative against it, other than help pinch the gasket better and reduce chances of blowing it.

ON the fuel, definitely go with a dual intake setup. a helper inline pump will not get you the flow you need. Maybe you can add a 255 in conjunction with the 416? Not sure if there are negatives with combining 2 different sizes. I know the dual 255's have made good power on the Evo, but not sure if that was with e85. You need a lot of flow for E85, so dual 255's might not cut it.

I'm gonna call a couple different machine shops and try to make a decision.
THis sounds like an issue with what local knowledge or local current practice is. I've seen that before when you get a community where everyone does the same thing, it works, but might not be best. Then there are other guys outside that do something different and make more power safer.

I've decided to tune it on pump gas initially when i get it back. This is to avoid additional costs since it'll be for sale. It should do over 500HP on pump gas and my current fuel setup is more than adequate for that. If I decided to keep it, I'll get an e85 tune and see how far we can push it on the current fuel system before upgrades are needed. Aaron at English Racing says that the Buscher double pumper with 2 255s is capable of ~800HP on e85. that would be more than enough for my current turbo. It'd be interesting though to see how far a single 416 e85 pump will go.

I think you're right there honestly are few women I can stand and probably even fewer that are car mod friendly. I actually only know of two.

Motor is done at the machine shop. It and all parts were dropped off at the motor builder today. Car will get towed there this week for motor swap. I'll be on vacation for a couple of weeks, so it'll be nice to see it running when I get back Click here to enlarge

Yes. 1000HP. Fuel pump should handle ~600-650 on e85. Not exactly sure which twin disk clutch is in the car. 1 version is good to 500tq one is good to 615tq. I'm hoping for the latter.

Well, first test drive by shop, brand new Gates Kevlar timing belt snaps and one of the rocker arms snaps in half. I'm assuming a valve hit a piston. If so, I'm done with this car. I'm parting it out to the frame and cutting my losses. ~$35k right now Click here to enlarge Hopefully i can recoup some of that by parting it out. $#@!

Holy Crap, 1st test drive and the belt snapped.
Did the shop use a razor blade to put it on? I would be hella pissed.

well good news is pistons are OK. i think i'll still part it out though. i should be able to get $3500 for the short block because of the internals i put in it.
