yes...the LSA accessory drive is different than all the other LS motors...belt routing and everything....it winds up creating TOO much tension on the tensioner and then boom....your whipple is broken

Ok would you mind detailing the specs due to the revisions?

I'm not sure where you are at now but you are supercharged and the manifold has a built in liquid intercooler? Am I following right so far?

Bigger, better blower (TVS 1900 vs TVS 2300; more power per PSI of boost, lower pressure drops, better/more efficient cooling), clearly alot easier to convert onto an LSA than the Whipple, it's also an OEM-spec part (reliability)

Of course better than the OEM LSA setup but this is still just marginally better versus say a big twin screw.

not in this case...the LSA and LS9 motors are not acceptable whipple motors based on their accessory drives, belt routing, and tensioners. My LS9 blower runs on aver age 40 deg cooler than the whipple at all times. I think its because of the fact there are 2 intercoolers that ride the sides of the blower instead of 1 the rides the center of it.

That's quite a shame. That is going to limit supercharger options quite a bit. I mean you could always ditch it for an F1-X but you'll lose torque down low.

Still, you're hp is going to be limited quite a bit now.

So now it's custom? But what happens with the blower? Or will you be driving that setup in the meantime?
