    More accurately I believe wheels need a contrasting surface or color to look best.
    Brushed w/polished or chrome lips.
    Black w/polished, chrome or some other color lips.
    Color matched center with polished, chrome or another color lips

    Anything other than all black.

    i feel you on hiding the flow of the car though.. i consider changing it a lot. but im picky on wheels anyway, so not much variance there
