    Zr1 in my future?

My dad is a Chevy guy. Currently has a 04 anniversary. small things, intake, custom tune, exhaust.

But like me, always running his mouth. He's pretty sour he sold his '67 chevelle (502ci BB-on alcohol) a few years back

Ive been keepin him up-to-date on my cars.

Seems he had some fun and caught the bug.

    http://social-gen.com/barrettjackson...7&s=4&id=11664

I asked him if he was getting the Zr1, he said "no, faster.." i dont see how faster for a factory car, unless he's buying used.... I sure hope he's not looking at a Zl1.. Matter of fact, I need to call him to make sure..

Anyway.. Having a Zr1 at my disposal would be pretty sick..

Z06?? I'd rather have that 7 liter V8 to beef up, whether he decides to make an N/A monster or slap on a ProCharger Click here to enlarge

Z06s dont take well to lots of boost, the displacement is so large there isnt a lot of wall material between cylinders to make the big power that the LS3s are making on stock blocks.

But overall, I think a Z06 on like a mild 8 psi procharged setup is pretty much able to stomp anything.

Get the Z06 with the Carbon Brake package and comp tires... Add in the ECS Blower kit with Meth and long tubes/catted X along with the Mantix twin disc clutch. Cheaper than the ZR and wayyyy faster.

    We stay swingin...

They can sleeve those blocks. Many LS3's get bored out to the 427 level.

I'd just be happy and keep it NA. The Z06 is sweet.
