You've got it backwards, the Ferrari has Corvette "level coil-overs" not the other way around. Not sure if its still the case, but at first at least Ferrari licensed the technology from GM.
Basically I was appreciating that the Corvette now can finally be had with world class suspension, vs the reverse leaf spring crap they used to use. (But still was effective)

Having owned around 20 Mustangs I can say that the Vette is worlds apart in terms of suspension and handling. My BBK, Coilover'd, Adj Shock, Supercharged GTS is no where near a match for my Vette with coilovers and big brakes. The GTS aint slow but it gives up aerodynamics and weight to the Vette. Along with chassis balance and center of gravity. But dollar for dollar, new vs new a well driven GT500 will give a stock Vette fits in most any venue thats a fact. I run into a 2013 GT500 and I expect to get smoked on the highway.
