Basically its trapping 126mph stock... I suspect once the Mustang Mag hot shoes like Evan Smith get hold of one that will show couple of tenths less and 1 or 2 mph faster.

Exactly... And supposedly one has been dyno'd with 609rwhp all stock. Pulley's,Cold Air, Headers/Exhaust with a tune will be 700rwhp or just over.

On a side note. Pearl White V Coupe, Matte Black hood center and loud exhaust. Sound familiar, seeing it all around P Way?

    This car is unfair.

Not really. It's basically straight line only. It will have its cons.

On another note, I like that they got it to 7,000RPM. Ford's V8 rev a lot better than most of Chevy's stuff because Ford has better head/valve-train development in my opinion.

With proper rubber they will likely do 10's stock.

3800lbs, mostly front weight, solid rear, doesn't sound like much of a corner carver to me...

Supposedly it handles well, 0.98g skidpad albeit at an unknown speed. Weight does hinder handling but it isnt the end all. Corvettes are front engine and solid rear axle, they do weight 500 lbs less but it just goes to show what a good chassis can do. I think ford did a good job with this car. A lot of people will be surprised.

54/46 weight distribution is not nose heavy bro... I would disagree with you there, that is an all aluminum motor sitting up front not the cast iron of old...

Current Vette Z06 is more like 600lbs less, IRS, can have Ferrari level coil-overs, and is perfectly balanced basically because the tranny mounts straight onto the diff and how far back the motor mounts. It is in a different class as far as handling.

The GT500 will be fast, no doubt. But I still think it is a poor choice for a road-race vehicle.

And guys I think it will be an awesome DD. Still a BLAST at the track. Hell I've talked to my Ford dealership about getting one already but they said $10K over MSRP and I laughed. It's just really not setup to be a track car (non drag strip), that is all.
