    Camaro ZL-1 1/4 mile numbers from Chevy - 11.9@117

    The auto did 11.9@116 and the manual 11.9@117. This is on the stock rubber.

    If you ask me I think it's pretty weak.

    You posted the wrong #'s for the manual...it is also running an 11.9 (not 11.0) @ 117. I read your post and was thinking to myself, damn, this thing puts an 11 flat on the table right off the showroom floor and you're not impressed (?).

    For 500whp 117mph doesn't seem too impressive to me. The ET is pretty good though.

    guys take this with a grain of salt....they said the caddy can do it in 12.5@115....most people who can drive a V right do it in 12.1@117 like i did...im sure the ZL1 can go much faster than that

    It's still pretty weak for a supercharged 6.2 liter V8.

    A bolt on M3 can do this...

    He's getting older and was having problems getting in and out of the Z, and he said it beat the crap out of him. He really liked the CTS-V Coupe, but apparently it suffered from either boiling brake fluid or brake fade, or something like that, when he really pushed it on the track.

    The ZL-1 is supposedly is very good track car. Or, on a track with turns and stuff, at least.
