Ok, so unless I am very wrong (for which I would apologize), haven't we already seen 139 MPH or very close to it at one time? BTW what is the record without nitrous, breaking records on a massive shot of nitrous in a Mercedes Benz isn't exactly ground breaking IMHO. A 335i has gone 132 MPH with nitrous as well but no one really took that seriously but a 127 MPH trap on boost solely by LM was much more impressive and highly praised. Congrats to you guys either way but I am just saying.

Congrats! Very impressive times and mph!

I think his previous documented run with nitrous (160 shot) was 134.7 mph in 10.39 seconds.

Not following you. Breaking records with boost is acceptable but on a 200 shot of nitrous it is not?

Would you be more impressed if Keith's car was supercharged?

    Keith has gone 10.80 @ 129+ on motor only, 10.39 @ 134+ on a 160 shot and almost 140 on a 200 shot.

Pretty impressive if you ask me.

It IS impressive. I don't think anyone is denying that or the performance. It's how it is achieved that is questionable and it's been debated since the beginning of time. There are those who do not believe in spraying as it is a false power adder IMO, and there are those who dismiss it and only care about times and speed no matter how it was achieved. Personally, I think spay is lame. If it's not a mechanical power adder that works all the time it shouldn't be used. But that's just my opinion and getting down the track that fast takes skill so congrats to Keith.

I see. Thanks for the good explanation.

I'm in the whatever it takes to get it done camp, nitrous, blower or turbo(s) but I do see your point.

Yes (especially if it was factory supercharged.) At least a S/C is a much truer representation of how the car would be used in a daily driving scenario. No one will be spraying a car on the streets in most cases.

    Keith has gone 10.80 @ 129+ on motor only, 10.39 @ 134+ on a 160 shot and almost 140 on a 200 shot.

    Much more impressive...

i dont choice n20, but its still the record, still takes a build plan tuning and a lot of things to come together.
most dont like it because its cheap $ for the systems. its actually much better for streetcars since its not constantly there.

all that really matters though is who wins the race when the 2 line up next to eachother, no matter how they got there, TT-S/C-N20..

you can run your mouths as to whats better and why all day. But run the cars and there is nothing left to say

    Hey Mike,
Thanks for the kudo's. At least from some of you. Click here to enlarge
Not that I need to explain but I road race this car frequently and I don't want a S/C or Turbo's for road racing. They weren't perfected or even an option back when we started messing with the car so nitrous was the ONLY way to go fast with these cars two years ago. Any of the large sanctioned racing groups(NHRA etc..) all accept nitrous as a real means of performance and setting records. The nitrous beats up my car rarely and its strong N/A so I can road race and enjoy the car. Click here to enlarge Thats my explanation so take it for what its worth.

You can go turn up your boost or get a smaller pullley and I'll get a bigger set of pills. The car is VERY fast no matter how you cut it. Keep racing and be safe.

Bro dont justify your mods or your records to any of these haters!! Your numbers are impressive, your 60ft is impressive and your trap is impressive. N20 is a power adder period the end. I mean can we say slicks dont count or weight reduction doesnt count? Please.

BTW, my earlier post about you not running it in your car was a joke, but the date on your slip is wrong. I thought I better explain myself before someone mistook my post as negative or something. As for the pass being made with nitrous IMO its a non issue, the car went down the track PERIOD, if 10.1s were easy with nitrous everyone would be doing it, right? Its a hell of an acomplishment, congrats.

X2 saying spray doesn't count because it's not on all the time is a new one for me lol. That's like saying turbo doesn't count either unless your driving around on max boost all day long. Congrats on the nice run. Oh and btw N02 is NOT the easy way to big power, you better have your tune RIGHT when on big spray or you'll be burning down pistons like nothing. Boost is much more forgiving.

Are you sure that wasn't an 1/8th mile?
Very fast. And the 60' was not that low. Man what a converter would do.
Like the way the car is digging on the shifts.
