    Yank 2800 single disc converter

So all the cts-v owners on the forums swear by this mod and say it gives them all ridiculous 60' numbers and 0-60 times.....whats your take?

well, from what i gather the yank is a stall torque converter used to increase the CTS-Vs stall from 1000 to 2800rpm...basically the converter wont lock until around that rpm and then boom...launch like a bat outta hell....single disc so there isnt any heat transfer so no cooling needed....you cut consistant 1.x 60'fts and some pretty good 0-60 numbers since when the converter completely locks up your in full on torque. Anyone with more experience can correct me if im wrong about this, im pretty new to the 6l90E trans.

A higher stall makes sense on the strip but how does it affect daily driving?
