728 rwhp with 2.9L whipple, cam, exhaust, and fueling on otherwise STOCK CTS-V

    728 rwhp KDi 2.9l Whipple w/ 16psi

Well, went to the dyno today!

I put my MSD BAP in last night but didn't have enough time to hook the boost line up to it.

So after a couple of runs commanding 18v I was chasing AFR a bit I need to play with it a bit (was only on the car running for 2hrs) I never could get it to settle down to 11.5

This run was at 10.81 AFR and 16.1PSI and run started at 100* IAT2's, I could of added 2-3* more timing up top and 4-5* more in the middle. But I pussed out because I was concerned about the AFR not staying stable especially in the higher cylinder pressures. If you look at the graph peak torque was at 5000rpm clearly not enough timing down low.

I expected 750rwhp so all in all not bad. I feel there is 30 more in her with leaning it out to 11.5 and adding 2*. Each bump of 2* I did netted 30-40hp and torque.

    The car as it sits:

    2.9l whipple
    Streetsweeper cam
Stainless Works 2" headers and full 3" exhaust
    ID 850's
    MSD BAP @ 18v

    Thats it.

    D.

BTW Odometer showed 52,803 miles on the dyno

Whipples are a thing of beauty.

I kind of want my next car to have a positive displacement of some sort.

C7 ZR1? (if they can manage to make a really nice interior)

a whippled C6 ZR1 would make short work of just about anything on the road.

And be fun to try and control...lol

Nice power! This should put the Cadillac into the 9's in the 1/4 mile, if it can maintain that power thru all the gears! Sick!
