Nissan has revealed some more details about this car.
    1-100km/h (62Mph) time is 3.6 seconds
It will do the 1/4 mile in 11.44 seconds
It also has released some pictures.
In black this thing looks wicked.

Am I the only person that thinks this thing is badass? I like it more than the GTR. This is a Juke I would not be embarassed to drive.

Heh, if they actually built it I wonder what it would cost?

I have to say, I agree with you. I'm actually kind of speechless about this car. I think it's amazing and I just really like it.

Cost? Hmm... Maybe 50K That is, if they mass produce it.

For $50k it is a bargain. I can think of no other SUV, if you want to call this that, that I would rather have for that money.

50k? no way! It would compete w/ the cayenne turbos/BMW M Suvs. Try 70k+...

While it looks sick, it still looks like an egg in matte black to me!

Problem is, it doesn't start off as a Porsche Cayenne or BMW SUV. Starts off as 20K car. But, yeah, for it's uniqueness and it's driveline, it could price higher than 50K.

    Exactly.

Who knows what the price point would be but it is fun to speculate.

The build of this car is in it's own league of awesomeness.
Just the way this is build, the resources available to the build team, the level of details, there are just not enough words for it.
Would I want one? No, probably not. I like my car morer sleeper like. This shouts performance, just like a GT-R does.
A sleeper GT-R is just impossible Click here to enlarge
This car, raised 10 inches, and painted in Red Bull colors, would just look as it could compete in the Baha1000 or Dakar rally.

I hope this projects goes forward. About 3 years ago I was out for dinner at a great local sushi place and sitting at the bar at the place and started talking to a group of guys, americans and japenese, turns out they were some big wigs and engineers for Nissan, the saki was flowing and there was lots of talking about cars. They end up mentioning that plans were in the works for a GT-R powered Maxima to compete with the E55 and M5 and it would be marketed as an Infinity here in the US, I even started a thread on another forum. Well I still have not seen any GT-R. Powered Maxima, I hope this Juke doesn't suffer the same fate.

What they were talking about was the rumored 4 door GTR but plans for that got axed.

I would love to see this car get produced but it won't unfortunately, just a cool project.

Finally Nissan released the power figures of the Juke-R.
They compare the car to the "most powerful" production version of the Juke. Which is saying absolutely nothing...
So forget the left stats, and just look at the numbers on the right.
