    Supras are Gay

What's up you guys? I was asked to make a thread about my car so here it goes!

I bought the car from the original owner with 56,668 miles in Jacksonville, FL. Found the car on craigslist (using autotempest which i recommend to everyone), flew down, met the previous owner at his condo, and the rest it history. Here are some pictures of the car soon after I bought it.

Previous owner had some "distasteful" visual stuff done that I quickly returned back to stock (put the stock sidemarkers on, stock wheels, and removed the tacky "supra" decal on the rear window)

I had the car dynoed at stock boost (11psi) and it made 317whp. I turned the boost up since then and I'm guessing it's around 400 now based on what other people made. The car has an intake, downpipe with a high flow cat, TRD version 1 cat-back, and a boost controller set to 18psi.

Is it really as clean as the pictures make it appear? That's a pretty nice example of a sucky Supra. If you don't mind, how much do clean ones like this go for these days?

i'd say the pictures portray the car as it is. note the oxidation starting to happen on my rear bumper, front bumper, and the rock chips. also, for a decent one depending on whether you want a 6-speed or auto and the color (some colors fetch a premium because of their rarity, mine for example is 1 of 14 TT 6-speeds that came to the US) but generally $25-$30k for a "regular" color TT 6-speed with decent miles

1 of 14? Whoa. That's just slightly more rare than my white 335. Well, keep it classy!

Very nice. My friend Yogi has one in the same color. Bought it from someone who had similar tastes as your PO, ghettoed out with some tacky 17x7" chrome wheels all around. Picked it up for 17k, turned around and over the course of 5 years, turned it into a 730hp monster...that was in 2007. As of now I believe he finally got the 3.4L stroker done and he was shooting for 4 digit horsepower.

I always wanted to own one...someday.

I know I've heard the name Yogi at meets and even maybe in the Northeast Supra Facebook group I'm in but I don't think I ever met him personally. I recommend this car to everyone I know. It's worth every penny in my opinion and while it isn't the best at everything, it's been my dream car for years.

You could hook up a walkman to the supra motor and tune it for 650 whp. It's that easy to make power.

What are your current power goals?

LMFAO that's going to be my next FB status (you'll get credit of course)

anyway, after i'm done with school and have more time and money i'd love to get a GT35R. quick spool and 550whp would be an awesome street/autocross car then once i'm done with that i'll probably go the typical 800-900whp route and have dumb lag with no properly usable power BUT it would be so much damn fun.....later down the line though.

Listen to me man. Forget the GT35R, just go for the 42R. on 28 psi.
