707 horsepower Gemballa Mistrale based on the Porsche Panamera Turbo

We haven't seen too much from Gemballa since the death of Uwe Gemballa which of course is understandable. The company is now under the direction Andreas Schwarz who has put out this new "model" based on the Porsche Panamera Turbo. The car specifically features no door handles which apparently is a way to honor Uwe Gemballa who was not a fan of door handles.

Gemballa says they limit torque to 704 pound feet to preserve the PDK gearbox. So, seems Gemballa currently does not have the capability to upgrade the box. The exhaust is also customized to fit the new rear bumper. Additionally, no performance numbers or dynos support the horsepower claim as is typical of European tuners who live off their name.

The changes beyond the exterior are of course the over the top body kit which is traditional Gemballa. The taillights are changes as well as LED's added to the front bumper. The interior also gets a complete overhaul with stitched Alcantara everywhere.

Only 30 of these will be built which at a $333,000 conversion price does not bother us one bit.

why the hell Porsche designed the tail like that? everytime i see one of these from front, i say that looks good but when i pass it's just Click here to enlarge

the torque PDK can handle is pretty impressive, 704 lb-ft would break DCT into several pieces.

The M3 DCT yes, but the M5 DCT is yet to be seen.

I do not think so as that unit is only rated to 440 pound-feet and the M5 is producing much more torque than that.
