ICS Performance Hits over 600 WHP on Stock Internal S52 on Pump Gas

These numbers are freaking ridiculous on a stock internal S52... and it is done with 19 psi on 93 pump! Click here to enlarge Kit will retail for around $10k.

Wow, very impressive! And the curves look very unlaggy and linear!

EDIT: This is with a thicker head gasket I presume?

I honestly don't know who would have the balls to try.

I would love to see someone do it... the S65 with turbos would just be flat out insane.

These results on this S52 are freaking incredible though... has me thinking.

yup! the s52 LOVES boost Click here to enlarge

It feels lovely too. thats a little more lag than I want on the road but DAMN would it be fast.

Mine should have around 1,000rpms more in the powerband but around 75-100whp less on a little less boost.

OK, this may very well seal the deal for me. I have wanted a Supra since 1997, but the more I think about it (and the more people expand on the potential of the S5x), an E36 M3 is just as good as a Supra at half the price.

yes they were, and point made.

of course its only laggy if you cant keep it in the rpm range you need for BOOOOOOST. If you drive it right, it will spool pretty fast. My 35r spools sickening fast....and hits almost too hard, traction is tough. Going to play with the boost controller a bunch once its back on the road to try and smooth out the transition.

You said about 1000 rpm sooner to full boost? That is insane.

I messaged ICS to come here a while ago, their work is impressive, they haven't responded back Click here to enlarge

He won't post an official price. He just says the "kit" should be 10k. Notice the wording. He won't say what the kit includes.

It is going to be funny when he gets 5-10 people to send their cars there. Then they all start posting the final bills on all these different forums. And then I will feel bad, but it will be hard for me not to say I told you so.

I see what you are saying but is that something ICS typically does? They have a good reputation it seems.

This kit will include a thicker head gasket and the rest of the hardware obviously. I would love to see $10k but would agree with you chances are it will be more. Would definitely like official pricing.

What do you think the "kit" will come with?

I responded to the other thread about their reputation.

Hard for me to speculate but I would definitely expect it to include all the hardware and tuning necessary for that ballpark price.

The devil is in the details, gentlemen. $10k is at the high end of the spectrum in my humble opinion, only because chances are good that these kits will not include tubular, stainless manifolds, but rather cast iron ones. At any rate, a mass-produced cast iron header is a fraction of the cost of a tubular stainless one (like 666), so I'm not sure where the $10k price tag comes from...

Welcome George and ICS, glad to have you aboard. Can you break down the kit contents for us? It's obvious you guys know your stuff when it comes to making power with the S5x, so I think we'd all like to know the ingredients in your recipe. Thanks in advance.

I'm guessing that it must include some variety of standalone EMS at that price level.

To be run that much boost and hold together, I think it is a valid guess.
