Gotta say...it isn't the prettiest of cars exterior wise, atleast not from the front, but the rear and the interior make up for it....ALOT

Agree, especially when you compare the output of the Lexus V10 to the new Ferrari 458 italia V8.

    Ferrari F458 - $220,000 4.5-liter V8 570 horsepower at 9,000 rpm and 398 pound-feet of torque at 6,000 rpm.

    Lexus LFA - $375,000 4.8-liter V10 553 horsepower at 8700 rpm and 354 pound-feet of torque at 6800 rpm.

Also it just looks terrible in white. Man that is an ugly car.

The 458 Italia abuses this thing with a badge that actually belongs on a 200k+ car.

I think it was more of an engineering feat than anything, since they supposedly are losing money...even at that price...

Ferrari is making money... with a better looking car, with less displacement, that out performs it, out revs it, has direct injection, and a dual clutch, for 150k less money and a larger production run? Doesn't sound like a Lexus engineering feat to me.

Ferrari has outdone themselves with the new 458. It is an absolute dream.

Most definitely, I will pick it any day over this crap.

What I was saying was, for lexus, it is an engineering feat, not for the automotive industry... Click here to enlarge

That is disappointing for a car that price. My 2010 GT3 matches its 0-60 and 1/4 times(stock), weights 500 lbs less, and costs 1/3 of the LF-A.

Wasnt it supposed to be superlight due to all the CF? It does have an amazing sound though...

You are right... the weight is a bit disappointing.

I think we will see better numbers out of it... they just announced a new even more limited version with 10 more hp. I'll make a new thread for it.

FWIW, Keith's gone 7.75 S from 0 to 100 in his S3 C63 to date, for the $ I would go 599GTB or for that matter F458 all day long, the numbers aren't good enough to justify the price nor is the lack of true racing heritage.

375k is nuts for that car. Lexus is out of their minds.
