Viper ACR breaks Miller Motorspots Lap Record, first production car to lap under 2 minutes

The Viper ACR is the baddest production track car, period:

Driver Kuno Wittmer breaks the lap record at Miller Motorsports Park, Tooele Valley, Utah in a Dodge Viper ACR. Wittmer piloted a street legal 2010 Dodge Viper ACR to a record lap of 1:59.995 (91.444 MPH average) on Monday, April 11, 2011, breaking the 2-minute mark for the first time in a production car on the 3.048-mile Outer Course configuration. The Viper ACR shattered the previous production car lap record of 2:03.86, held by Jan Magnussen in a Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 by close to 4 full seconds.

tried one of these years back, a 505 CUI Convertible, while the torque was amazing, the chassis and steering feed back was very bad.
I'm amazed how they turned that into a track car !
