Car and Driver in their test hit the same 0-60 but got a trap speed just 1 mph higher at 111. So, basically similar numbers with a one mile per hour trap speed variance. Weight was also measured just about the same at 6 pounds off. Seems the numbers are all accurate putting the acceleration roughly on par with an E92 M3 or new Audi RS5. That's a very efficient 315 horsepower thanks to the light weight and PDK transmission.
The handling performance impressed with the car being well balanced with power on oversteer easily induced. The reviewer says the car feels a little loose on turn which is surprising especially with the later praise he gives it stating it is the best sports car in the world.
Overall, the Boxster is simply a highly impressive piece of machinery. Now if Porsche would grow some balls and stop forcibly holding it back.
