    2012 / 2011 GTR 0-62mph 3.0 seconds.

If the surface temp was warmer than 13c then it would have been faster.

They keep improving it, BMW stays stagnant.

Nissan has always been able to build a badass, right-priced car.

Every GTR they have created has been epic, and it only is getting better! (though I wish they had a manual option)

I wonder if I could swap this drivetrain into my 300zx..... Click here to enlarge

Ok, that does it. If this is a legit stock car, it will be added to the garage.
I wonder how the acceleration is past 130+mph... The stock 2009-2011 GTRs, as far as I know, shutdown turbos/lower psi after 130+mph, therefore having a very slow acceleration after that point, compared to 0-130mph...

? never heard that before. I also heard some bs that you can't use the car's full potential till you are on a track, and it is tracked by gps.

Solution? Software. (with a bit of hardware)

Yeah, I know its weird, but it has been confirmed by technicians, and customers, that the turbos (with the stock software) shutdown/lower psi after those speeds. Thats why when I was stock, I'd be head to head (dead even) with stock GTRs and some even with exhaust (Stock ecu) from 50-130mph. After that I would just pull away...
Aftermarket software takes care of it, but would be nice not to have to do anything like it, to a 0-60mph in 3.0 seconds car...

I'm sure it's some sort of legal or safety issue, and I agree, that sounds annoying.

The GPS/blackbox doesn't bother me much although I don't like it, but if I was nissan, I would have put it on the GTR as well. From the business point of view, almost no car company will cover parts under warranty, that were exposed to abuse (tranny, suspension, brakes) at a track event, only under manufacture's defect. I think the GPS/blackbox is really used to determine if the car ran a regular event ( not timed, and warranty may be honored), or a timed lap event (racing event = no warranty).
