Stupid domestic cars are so easy to make ridiculous power on…..Meanwhile 0 S65s, S85s (I think?), N54s, or N55s are over 1K wheel. Ugh.

Those are serious numbers though, can’t hate on the results. C7s are going to mess up a lot of cars.

Vengeance Racing is the first to break the 1000 wheel horsepower LT1 barrier - 1018 RWHP (stock internal) C7 Corvette video, specs, and dynograph

It feels like it took longer to write the article title than it did for the C7 Corvette to go over 1000 wheel horsepower. Vengeance racing sprinkled in some boost and nitrous on the LT1 V8 and the result is 1018 rear wheel horsepower and 894 pound-feet of rear wheel torque. Oh, and this is a stock internal LT1. On boost alone they managed 890 wheel horsepower so it is the nitrous getting them over 1000 wheel but it's a crap ton of horsepower early on the platform however you look at it.

The next milestone will be whomever cracks 1000 wheel boost only without nitrous. It does not look like that is very far off considering what is already being done on stock internals with boost alone. Who even needs a Z06?

Dynograph, specs, and video (with 'hot' girl) below.

ECS Paxton blower (smaller than a YSI) 14 PSI
    C16
    100 shot nitrous

    Stock clutch
    Vengeance Racing Cam

Put a 100 shot of Nitrous in your E9s M3 Sticky and you will be at 1000 whp..... with a fried egg tranny

But I looked at buying this or waiting for the Z06... I am 6 feet with a long torso and it is so uncomfortable the C7.... really bad and after many drives and looks, feels cheap and plastic

    I don't think a built motor M3 needs nitrous for 1000 whp... we'll see.

From what I hear the interior no longer 'feels' cheap. I mean whatever I want one by August and will do my best to make that happen.

This car is sick. Stock internals, stock block, stock trans, stock injectors, stock basically everything other than the blower, cam, and nitrous and the result is over 1000 whp. It's insane. BMW can suck my balls with their stupidass electronics they lock their most hardcore fans out of. You sneeze on the Corvette and it gains horsepower without needing nuclear technicians to decode the stupid ECU.

I used to love BMW because they built the best motors available in attainable cars. You were getting a race bred motor in a luxury sports coupe/sedan. Nobody did it like they did it.

Now, they are boring and their electronic bull$#@! just makes enthusiasts want to rip their hair out.

This car barely hit the lots and the 2015's aren't even out yet and already you can modify basically everything. Is it hurting Chevy's sales? Nope, they just raised the price on the damn car: http://chevyboost.com/content.php?44...nd-Convertible

Why bother with a company that hates its enthusiasts?
