    2014 Ford F150 Tremor stock 1/4 mile numbers - 14.5@93.8

I was expecting a bit more out of it but it is going to respond very well to mods. For 365 horsepower stock with 420 pound-feet of torque I thought it would at least match the Lightning.

    Dry Run
    Mile Elapsed Time: 14.5 sec
    Mile Trap Speed: 93.8 mph

    0-10 mph: 0.4 sec
    0-20 mph: 1.1 sec
    0-30 mph: 1.9 sec
    0-40 mph: 3.1 sec
    0-50 mph: 4.3 sec
    0-60 mph: 6.1 sec
    0-70 mph: 7.9 sec
    0-80 mph: 10.0 sec
    0-90 mph: 13.3 sec
Top Speed: 98 mph (electronically limited)

They also stopped making it after just barely 1 year. I loved my lightning. I had higher hopes for a twin turbo truck just like the GM ones back in early 90's (Syclones, Typhoons).

The Syclone is a hell of a lot lighter and offers far less utility but that truck is the stuff of legend.

The Lightning had a production run from 1999 to 2004 so not sure what you mean.

I meant the Tremor, they have dropped it from their lineup after 1 year.

This thing hasn't even hit the market and it's already gone? Crazy.

I guess with the new aluminum F150 it's going to be much, much quicker due to the insane weight drop.

Hmmm my buddy's best run in his FX4 with ecoboost was 14.5 and that was with downpipes, intake, tune, and race gas, but on 35" tires

sadly we probably wont see much of an aftermarket now that its off the lineup. With a stout crank (towing capability of the Ecoboost) and twin turbo turbo swap + bolt ons it might have been one scary truck.

All the parts already available should basically carry over so I don't see the problem.

The motor is already on the most popular truck, there's a huge market still, it's just like the lightning was, a jazzed up F-150 with suspension and that's about it. The gen 1 lightning was sooo basic. Gen 2 was "just" the Triton V8 with a supercharger, lowered suspension, wheels, side skirts, front and rear bumper, and a few badges. Cool truck nonetheless but lots of posers out there as it didn't take much to transform a regular F-150 into a lightning. Nowhere near as difficult as making a 335i into an M3 lol
