    The B7 RS4 gets some balls - APR's Stage B7 RS4 Eaton TVS1740 Stage III supercharger kit runs a 10.6@130 1/4 mile

Now that's more like it! For a long while now the 4.2 FSI motor in the RS4 and RS5 has been getting beaten up on by, well, just about anything. APR's Stage I and Stage II supercharger systems made a nice difference but the cars still lagged behind supercharged E92 M3's, tuned 335's, and 63 AMG's. Well, with the announcement that they intended to go to a larger Eaton TVS1740 blower for a Stage III supercharger kit APR certainly raised the bar in the 4.2 FSI V8 game.

How does 585 wheel horsepower and a 10.6@130 in the 1/4 mile sound? Now that is some serious performance and keep in mind this is a manual all wheel drive car. Once APR gets this kit on the new RS5 with the dual clutch transmission it should make for an even quicker and faster car.

Nice work APR, this is some serious performance out of the 4.2 FSI V8.

Wow, that car gets out of the hole FAST. 1.5 dead 60'? And 30mph in the second half for an AWD cars is also very impressive. Looks like an extremely well rounded package.

It's definitely well executed and that isn't even that large of a blower.

And then the price will be released...

Seriously great job. Although you can bet it will not be cheap. Audi V8 S/Cs seem to make even M/AMG kits seem reasonable.

Damn that thing takes off like no other. Crazy how the car sounds so different from 104 octane to all others.

The runs with 104 octane also have the oem catback removed for weight savings so it's running no exhaust that's why it sounds so crazy. The other runs had the exhaust on

Removed seats and their wheel/tire combo went from 46lbs to 36lbs.

Definitely nice numbers, especially with using cats and stock intake (used aftermarket panel filter though)

Not exactly a daily setup here. They had to do quite a bit to get this into the 10's.

It's a a lot more impressive (vs. the M3s that went in the 10s) considering this car is a 6MT. And while the weight reduction doesn't exactly make the car streetable (specifically removing the stock cat back exhaust), neither are the DCT M3s that went into the 10s -- Both were on radials, lightweight mods & fully catless exhaust

Yeah but the M3's are doing it without all wheel drive in street trim. They're faster but nice to see this hit the 10's and show some serious performance finally.

I love the RS4, to bad they hold their value so much, it's very hard to find one and if you do it's expensive.

$#@! that thing is launching HARD. Wonder how long the trans will hold up? I think the 100 octane tune, full weight and cat back exhaust is the way to go to be streetable. Still hitting 129mph and only 4 tenths off the faster setup - 11 flat is nothing to sneeze at for a daily driver.

Yeah but the M3's are putting out more power. They are faster regardless. They gets the ET based on weight loss, all wheel drive launch, and instant torque.

They can run an M3 from a roll to see for themselves.

The RS5 should be a better comparison to a DCT M3 but will still lose from a roll.
