Ultimately, the most important thing is track times. I need to get a set of drag radials and hit Atco. The car went 12.1 at 119 stock in -500 DA.

not really. they dont calculate the same. so it could be that, combined with heat. those things heatsoak quickly, so it depends on conditions, AFR, boost, belt slip, ect. what about exhaust? pretty sure its going to need to exhale better if its inhaling more..

we need the graph. i think its a solid gain though. you never know.

FYI, heres an old DJ dyno from my L best of 12.3@109 with DR's

so compared to dans V and yours, id say your right where you need to be from those mods

Thanks for the feedback. Exhaust is stock. For all I know the tuner may have purposely went a little rich on the top end just to be safe.

I have to get my hands on the graph to be sure.

your not gonna get much out of it without injectors more boost and or a cam....trust me...been there done that

remember what i said about the cam....your being REALLY limited right now by not doing the cam....the V NEEDS the cam to utilize all that extra boost properly....your just bleeding it off right now.....ask your shop....ill bet they are gonna tell you its needs a cam to squeeze out the power you want out of that car

I had them install ID850's so it can't be out of injector.

A cam will come eventually but I guess I expected a little more power based on what I was reading from other owners and their gains.

    Update:

I picked the car up last night and spoke to the tuner. He confirmed he went a little on the safe side regarding the tune. AFR was 11.0 and boost maxed out at 16psi. He also tuned the transmission and raised the rev limiter to 6600 and shift rpm to 6400.

The one hour drive home was fun. I knew instantly the car felt different in a good way.
Normal driving is similar to stock which is what I wanted but once you lay into the throttle it becomes a different car. I have to get it to the track but so far I'm pleased. The trans tune is really impressive, absolutely lightning quick.

The car feels as strong as my C63 did when I traded it in which ran consistently 11.2 to 11.3 at 124-125. For comparison sake my C63 put down 482rwhp and 444rwtq while running the times above.

My next move is a set of drag radials.

Good idea. The shop is sponsoring a track rental at Atco in a couple of weeks, should be a good time to try a race tune.
