Thumbs up The V finally went under the knife!

I dropped the V off at Tune Time Performance Monday night to install and dyno tune an upper pulley, solid isolator, a set of ID850's injectors, Fluidyne Heat Exchanger and a ported Snout and throttle body.

The baseline numbers were 435rwhp and 426rwtq which was a little on the low side but they attributed that to my car being on snow tires.

The car in stock trim ran 12.1 @ 119 on the factory street tires.

The dyno being used is an AWD MD500 Mustang dyno.

The car should be on the dyno again today for custom tuning. I'll post the after numbers as soon as I find out.

Not sure which cam though. The car is my daily so it has to run smooth as stock. I was thinking along the lines of LS9 cam.

The shop called with some dyno numbers. 485rwhp and 504rwtq

Looks like a 50rwhp & 78rwtq gain. I was expecting more on the horsepower side based on what some other cars with similar mods have gained.

I don't have the graphs yet. I"ll have to take a closer look at the air/fuel ratio and boost when I get the graphs.

you cant expect DJ like % gains. thats about "75" hp on a DJ... if you gained that much, would it be inline with what you thought from others experience?

From what I remember Mustang Dynos are heart breakers numbers wise. On a DynoJet you will easily put down 500 horsepower. Solid wheel numbers!

Yes, 75 at the wheels is in line with the rest. My baseline dyno was 435rwhp on the same dyno yesterday. Shouldn't the gains be constant/similar regardless of the type of dyno?

I've heard this too but the final total numbers are not what has me scratching my head it's the gains. The torque gains are impressive but the horsepower is a little on the low side.
Almost makes me think it's rich on the top end but I don't have a graph yet to look at.
