Interesting, 707 whp and high 9's in the low 140's even with a 4300 pound curb weight.

17 inch Mickey Thompson Bias-Ply. That is what I want to run as well. 1.54 60 foot is what did it.

Livernois is a great shop... I like that they did the deed since they play on both sides on the street. There Mustang & Ford products are equally as fast.

9's already really isn't surprising considering this is an LS-A.

and can i say that the STOCK 6L90E(same as mine) held up to all that abuse.....the tranny and this bottom end are pretty damn good....only thing im pissed about is the fact that the cts-v is the ONLY LSA car with hyper-eutectic pistons....the ZR1 and ZL1 have forged pistons and rods....needless to say my next step is a fully built motor...and when that happens im shooting for 850whp

Truly amazing time for this car on that little blower. This is my favorite quote from Livernois about this run:

Others shops claim the low 10 second ET'S at similar mph without ported heads and obviously we don't know how aggressive their tune was. We weren't worried about breaking the engine and fortunately didn't..

That motor is strong, even if your pistons aren't forged (yet).

Exactly. And those are both DynoJet numbers. Maybe someone was playing with the dyno settings....................

Dynojets are calibrated from the factory, not much you can do to them besides change the correction factor.

Mustangs are calibrated from the factory too. You can still change the numbers by manipulating the calibration settings in the software. And it isn't something difficult.

There is a certain shop here that likes to make all the cheap FWD car guys feel special.
