    New 1/4 mile World Record for e90 M3

    Hit up Atco today with two fellow members and bunch of cool Ford guys. Fastest run of the slips i have gone threw is 11.325 at 126.80 ( street tires) but i have a 11.2 i believe run that i gotta find the slip for it. If i find that slip i'll have the record for fastest e9X m3 in the quarter mile no nos. My best trap was a 127 and that was my goal for the day.

    Those are on par with LM's and my 335i recent traps with RB turbos...i had a 126.6 on full weight as well pump+meth though...did you run race gas or meth?

    You have high 10s in that car with a 1.8 60'....great runs bud!

    its to be expected, a 530HP DCT car vs a 550 hp MT car is equal. kits make the same power to the motor (actually, AA makes more per PSI), but drivetrain losses are what are shown on the dyno. shift speed advantage of DCT is negated by the less drivetrain HP loss in the MT's. so everything else being equal, their MPH and ET's will be equal.

    AKH's car is extrememly consistant though. once he got over being scared of it Click here to enlarge he figured out how to use it. MPH only varied 1, maybe 2 mph over the course of the day? and thats every time he has gone, multiple days. other similar non-meth cars usually dont do their best until the temps and DA go down

    FWIW when I dyno'd a day prior @ the same dyno as always @ ICS it put down 555whp which was the lowest that dyno ever read on my car with same setup/boost as I was that day at ATCO ( 7.5psi )
    The reason it read low was due to $#@!y fan blower the generated 5mph wind .
    The lowest i ever seen & this was with a bad DV/slow closing piston was 583whp and highest 603whp .
    The ESS 535 kit was trapping 125mph I trapped 126 and my lowest was 118 traction is a big key roll player in my traps I almost lost it in 4th gear almost ever time untill I put it in MDM mode .
    Slapping on DR's on I Defenitly see a 128-130 mph trap ! I spun in all 4 years especially 3rd and 4th
    I'll dig up the run between me and Akash where there was less than 1mph difference & let's not forget their is a difference between 6mt & DCT ...
