What the hell? You are running 13.8 in it? In the quad cab?

    It does like 15.4 stock.

By the way, I'm thinking about picking one up. Time to get rid of my Frontier.

The Roush is going to be a nicer system and it will come with a warranty, I have already looked into all my options, the Roush should be available in December, it will be installed the week it becomes available.

I'm guessing it will be positive displacement as well?

Was looking into the Raptor and Ford has an awesome 0% promotion going on right now on all F150's... except the Raptor. Pisses me off.

there was a waiting list on the Super Crew (the model I have) earlier this year and they are selling more than they can produce so they have no reason to offer incentives....please note its a terrible tow vehicle. Used it to tow the BS out to Weistec and Vegas last week and it sucked.

Oh, I wanted to use it for towing as well. Why is it bad as a tow vehicle?

The suspension, chassis and tires are setup for off-road handling, not heavy loads. And this all depends on what exactly you're trying to tow of course.

I wouldn't plan on towing anything more than a small traailer with a couple ATVs or motorcycles on it. It has the power to tow just about anything but as Slicktop stated the suspension is not suited to towing. Iff you want a tow vehicle but an F250 or F350.

13.98 I will show you the slip, care to make a wager first??? It was run with all the mods listed, cat delete on the stock wheels and tires and stock bumpers, these ADDs are heavy ass. Also was run on a mixture of 93 premium and 100 octane race gas, not sure how much the fuel contributed. Ran it at Byron, several 14.0s and then a single 13.98. Very very consistant from pass to pass.

If you need to tow, you'll need to put airbags in the rear suspension. With the airbags deflated, the truck will handle like stock, but inflated it will greatly increase your towing ability.

My dad has airbags in his Duramax and they are really nice.

airbags would completely defeat the purpose of the Raptors suspension and I'm not even sure airbags could be fitted to the Raptor. The Raptor comes with very complex Fox racing suspension, its desgnd for hitting dunes at 100mph not towing. I own 3 other tow vehicles but they were not available for my last minute trek out to the west coast so I just hooked ot up to the Raptor.

What Metrik meant was that you can add helper airbags to the rear leafs. They don't replace any of the current suspension and, when deflated, don't interfere with it either. When you want to tow something, you simply flip a switch and the helper bag inflates between the frame and the rail to stiffen up the rear suspension and make it more suitable for towing. Airbags can be fitted to any truck

They wouldn't be as bad as installing a stiffer rear leaf pack, but you're right, they would somewhat limit rear droop travel. I was just trying to suggest a way to make the truck work for you, but if you have three other trucks.... Then it's not an issue.

The Raptor's rear suspension is NOT complex. Just a softer rear leaf pack and fox shocks. Same aftermarket stuff people have been bolting in their trucks for years.
