Yeah I think his record with this car in the 1/4 is 6.21@23x. They actually slowed it down that race because iirc he had some issue with a suspension component or something like that. The last race he ran here at silverdollar he ran one qualifying pass only because no one was able to come close to his time he didn't need to make more runs and walked away an easy winner in the event. What's crazy is the motor has alot more in it. The owner of Proline recently won his first Pro mod race at the US nationals and it was on a brand new car(never had run an event) with a brand new motor and it was his first event driving a Pro mod. With their 481" he went 5.83@255! Imagine what they could do if the class would allow their 670" motor.

Yeah, but the only proper exotic he has is that Gallo. SW's garage is much sicker than that.

It's amazing to me that a car like this is able to be driven on the street. How cool would it be to drive from X to Y (road trip) while having the flexibility to basically run with anything on the road without even dropping a single gear?! I can’t imagine it – I really, as sticky said, cannot wrap my head around this. +1 on the 1,938 Clydesdales.

This makes me happy for the guy; I hope someday we all have our 1900+ RWHP/AWHP cars to play around with. Click here to enlarge

Corny or not – I don’t care. Simply awesome.

    Cheers.

I would never drive around a car with that much hp on the street. Did you see what he had to do to even get the tires warm? I drove MHP's SL65 on the street and even that was difficult to keep control of.

These cars do a surprisingly good job of putting the power down.

Not debating that, but to drive it on the street with cold tires and dumbass drivers around...yeah, I don't feel like dying.

if its a built/sleeved motor like these engines i would expect near the same targets, however i do not think the tranny will hold over ~800wheel.

WHY not its a single clutch like a regular manual, so they should be able to beef it up like a stick
