    Thumbs up HPF Targets 1100rwhp with their Stage 5

    We just ordered up the turbo for our stage 5 turbo kit. We are going to go with the Garrett GTX4508R with the Tial V-Band Exhaust Housing and 1.0 A/R. With our extreme internals and sleeved blocks, we feel this turbo will suit nicely. We will create the tunes on both the AEM platform and the ProEFI platform. Part of our turbo manifold is already completed, but since we changed turbos, we have to alter the design slightly for the larger Garrett GTX4508R. Click here to enlarge

    That's insane. I'm guessing the suspension will have to undergo some changes also, in order to support that ridiculous power.

    You could have gotten the 1100whp with the gtx4202r with less lag. Do you sell precision turbos?

    the lag can be controlled by choosing the correct turbine housing dont you think? by the looks of it though, its already chosen.

    the NEW HPF turbo manifold is a T4, not a Tial V band.

    Sure it can help but why chose a 1400hp turbo when your aiming for 1100hp and there's a 1200hp option that will spool sooner and yield a nicer power band? And before someone says those are crank ratings, Garrett is always conservative and there are a few people who have made over 1100 on YB and supras. I'm sure he'll have a good answer(it sounds more badass and looks meaner?) but just curious.
